What's going on?

Sorry it has been so long since our last post. We have been very busy, having fun, and enjoying the nice weather!

Other than that, I went to see the musical Legally Blonde with a friend a few weeks ago, and it was hilarious! Even though Geoff didn't go, I would still recommend it to girls or guys, because it was much better than I was expecting with some scandalous jokes, and the cutest, best trained dogs ever!

Also a few weeks ago, I took Friday off of work, and we went to see the Dave Matthews Band with a group of friends. We had an afternoon cookout at a friends house before taking a party bus to the concert so that no one would have to drive, the weather ended up being an amazing 85 and sunny, and the concert was great! It has been several years since we have gone to a DMB concert, so even though we felt a bit old, it was still awesome!! Geoff and I have been watching/listening to a DVD of a Dave & Tim Concert in NYC for several months now, so we knew a lot of the new songs, and really do enjoy all his music. The night went by way too fast!

Last weekend (May 2nd), we played in a charity golf tournament. Below is a picture of our team "Gang Green". The weather was beautiful, and although we didn't win any prizes for how we played, I think we were definitely the most improved from last year! There was a delicious Southern Picnic afterwards, and in the raffle, Geoff being his lucky self won a round a golf for 4 to the Birkdale Golf course (where the tournament was held).

Lastly, I have busy planning all my new projects that I am going to do after reading a blog that a friend sent me called This Young House. I am completely obsessed with it, seriously, I can't get enough! Sherry & John are 20 somethings, with a cute old brick ranch in Richmond, that they have completely re-done themselves, except for the big kitchen remodel (still done on a budget), everything else was mostly done with paint and decorating! Since starting the blog about their house, they also started an interior design business. This site is so insprirational to me, they do projects on a strict budget, use thrift store items, Ikea, and sale items to pull together a room that looks fabulous (they get paid to create the mood boards that tell people where to buy all the items! I'm telling you, it really is a dream!) I could go on all day about it, so if I get fired, everyone will know why! (Thanks Alison Hunt!)

FYI, I have 2 big items that I have been waiting a couple months to post about, and will hopefully get to those a bit later hopefully today or tomorrow........
