Baby Shower Project - Martha Stewart Pom Pom's

I remembered seeing these Martha Stewart tissue Pom Pom's long ago on the Hunt's blog and thought that they were so cute! I just needed the right party. So, when some of Amanda's high school friends asked if I would help with the baby shower, I totally volunteered to do decorations just so that I could make some of these! I solicited some help from Renee since I wanted to make a bunch of them....I mean since I know how much she loves projects! We started making all different sizes to hang around the room, and then we started to like the smaller ones better. We decided to hot glue some sticks to the bottom, and put several of these "flowers" in some mason jars to use as centerpieces (on top of the receiving blanket "tableclothes" that she could take home later) on all the tables as well. These turned out so great for the party, it adds so much color, plus they are cheap and fun to make! I will definitely make these again! Bonus, 2 of Amanda's friends are teachers, so they were super excited to take these and put them up in their classrooms after the party!

Geoff, me and Renee (enjoying some wine with sherbert punch! yum!) Love all the pom poms in all colors of pink, green and white!
