Amanda's Baby Shower

I had a great time helping out with Amanda's Baby Shower on Saturday afternoon! She is due on April 15th with a baby girl they will name Madison Elizabeth! We can not wait to meet baby Dudek! I helped Amanda paint the nursery country green by Benjamin Moore a while back when I was snowed in Atlanta with her for work. Since she has a green nursery, we (Amanda's 3 high school friends and I) decided to do the shower in all different shades of pink and green. I volunteered to help with the decorations, and may have gone a little overboard, but it was so much fun! I love projects, and it was a great distraction from our kitchen renovation. I tried to use some decorations that she could re-use later on. I will also do a seperate post of all the fun decorating projects that went along with it.


We had the shower at the Birkdale Village Clubhouse (on the same street where we used to live in the townhouse, and actually that is how we met Mark & Amanda because they lived diagonal from us). It was a great location since it was a huge shower with their family, Charlotte friends, and Amanda's high school friends. I think 40 people were there! We also ended up having the best weather of the year.....it was 70's and sunny all day. All in All, A beautiful day!
